Texture mapping with octrees

I have a height map that''s in an octree. I can get it to draw fine but I can''t get a texture map on it. I enable 2d texture mapping, bind the texture, and then give the tex coords. My octree class is pretty much the one from the gametutorials page. I''m not using vertex arrays or display lists. Am I missing something? It can be done right?

the texture mapping has nothing to do with the octree itself. how are you rendering your primitives? it sounds like your just using normal triangls, which is fine. could you maybe give some code of how you load your texture and some rendering code?

Thanks for the quick reply... i actually fixed it, my u,v coords were reversed and flipped... oops
