OpenGL Sound in OpenGL

OpenGL is a pure graphics API, it does not by itself have any support for sound (or input, or networking).

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you should be looking into OpenAL for sound support. I haven't done any sound programming myself, so I can't really help you there.

sdl? a library of that is sdl_mixer it lets u play *.ogg *.mp3 etc,
very simple to use (i use it btw)
