I''m just curious if there is any way to use the VC++ Compiler within my code. I would like to create a program that runs through a group of source files and checks them for errors... Any ideas? Thanks -Sash -5

There is a command line compiler for visual c++ called cl.exe. You could run that on files and parse the errors.

I''m not sure if it exposes a COM interface or something similar, but haven''t seen anything about that.

You might want to have a look at the make utility and makefiles in general.

MSVC ships with a variant : nmake.
