Engine.cpp size

Hi Does anyone knows what is the size of a completed normal 3D engine ??? I''m talking about a not much complex nor simple. I''m just curious Kamikaze

wtf, why are these questions asked so much.

An engine is how ever big it needs to be. An application be it engine, tool, etc is done when it is fully functional. Define how youu want your engine to work and what it will do and don''t wory about line or class counts. Worry more about finishing it.

I was just curious....

I REALLY don't care about my code size... I prefer to have bigger
code than a slow code...

Imagine you're creating an app like winamp, your're now
creating the playlist.... Playlist is done and you're testing
it, you load a playlist with 100 files.
Each index of the playlist has a char array[1024] witch contain
the name of a file.
When you load the playlist with the 100 files you'll be allocating
102400 bytes of memory...
If each char array were [512] you would be allocating only
51200.
Now imagine a playlist with thousands of indexes........

Conclusion: A size of a string sometimes really matters
