How to get the files inside of a directory ???

Hi, Does anyone knows how to get the files that are inside a directory ??? i.e. Get the files inside "C:\Windows\" Any help is appreciated Kamikaze

bit more information would''nt go a miss.

you simply use the whole path of the file.

Say you had a file called text file called nothing.txt and that file was located in your mydocuments folder. you would open the file using the complete path I.E C:\MyDocuments\nothing.txt

as for the opening of the file what lanuage are you using?

I''m using VC++ 6.0 and I don''t want to open the files, just
list them in an array or a listbox, how do I do it ??

now your asking I write all the file transfer app''s at work in VB.
in VB and windows scripting this is done using filesystem object.

So if you can use this in VC++ I would suggest doing so.

FindFirstFile() is to find a file, and what I want
is to get ALL the files inside a directory, however
this function may be usefull to me, thanx you guys,
but how do I get ALL the files ????

what string should Ilook for in the "FindNextFile()" functio ??
does it find every file if I put the string "*.*" ???
I''m not on my computer right now, so I can''t test it...
