BASIC in Windows 98????

Is there a Basic editor/compiler that comes with windows 98 that i can access from the DOS prompt? My friend says there is with windows xp Thanks, -COLIN

On your Windows 98 CD go to the "tools\oldmsdos" directory, where you will find the Qbasic.exe and qbasic.hlp files. Copy them to your harddrive and run the exe.

on the windows cd, go into the /OLDMSDOS/ directory and there will be qbasic.exe there
