Debugging full-screen DirectX?

Hi, I''m developing my first full-screen DirectX program. But when running it via the debugger (in VC6), I am unable to Alt-Tab back from DirectX when I hit a breakpoint. Is there a way to debug a fullscreen DirectX app? aig

Actually, if you are serious about programming and don''t mind putting down a little money just go buy some cheezy video board and a monochrome moniter from a used computer store. I bought a monochrome moniter for twenty bucks and a really lame video board for fifteen. Then I just print all my debug output to the second video board. Andre Lamothe has a tutorial on his site for doing just that.
