OpenGL OpenGL 2.0

I just wanted to know something about OpenGL 2.0.You see i''m not so good with it and i ask some dumm questions.Is OpenGL 2.0 going to use the same system makings functions(you know wglCreateContext,wglMakeCurrent and so on).10x

It''s not a dumb question.

The answerer is ''Yes''. wglCreateContext and wglMakeCurrent as well as any other wgl function will probably be necessary in an OpenGL 2.0 implmentation on windows.

Microsoft has never exposed anything beyond OpenGL 1.1 forcing Graphics Drivers to expose additional functionality in 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4 via extensions and wglGetProcAddress. The same will probably be true of OpenGL 2.0. wglCreatecontext & wglMakeCurrent will be necessary because it''s through those calls that Microsoft hooks up to the graphics driver.
