# Faster framerates when using Device.SetTransform() ? Weird!

Hi I'm rendering 1 rectangle with this code:
device.SetStreamSource(0, vertexBuffer, 0);
device.VertexFormat = CustomVertex.PositionColored.Format;
device.DrawPrimitives(PrimitiveType.TriangleStrip,0,2);

When setting the world transform before rendering I get about 400 fps, not set the world transform gives me about 370 fps, isn't that strange? Also, for every rectangle I add to the scene the fps drops with about 30-40. Anyone knows what I could be doing wrong? Thanks in advance! /Kobingo Also, I'm using DirectX 9 with C#...
