What''s the deal with numlock in Linux? It drives me crazy! It seems like it just turns off without warning! I know it always turns off during boot, but what about other times? Is it just my imagination? Is there a way to make it act more like Windows and just LEAVE IT ALONE?
I like the DARK layout!

Each virtual terminal has its own numlock on/off setting (Terminals 1 through N, X 1 through N, et cetera). Each time X is restarted I think numlock is reset too. Other than that, it shouldn''t get messed with randomly. There''s a command line program to turn it on or off, but I can''t remember what it is at the moment.

I think that program is called setled.
Problems with Windows? Reboot! - Problems with Linux? Be root!
