Mipmapping and DX9

I''m having trouble turning on mipmapping now in DX9. The call made before in DX8.1 was g_pD3DDevice->SetTextureStageState(0, D3DTSS_MIPFILTER, D3DTEXF_POINT); and the new one should be g_pD3DDevice->SetTextureStageState(0, D3DSAMP_MIPFILTER, D3DTEXF_POINT); at least that''s what it says in the documentation! But I get the error "cannot convert parameter 2 from ''_D3DSAMPLERSTATETYPE'' to ''D3DTEXTURESTAGESTATETYPE''" which is logical because it is that structure, but how do I turn it on then? I tried forcing the conversion and it compiled but mipmapping didn''t work. Anyone played with this? Thanks!
