You should actually program the wizard yourself as well - it''s a great ( and sometimes painful ) learning experience. I made one for OpenGl applications myself.

Actually - to get you started - Visual Studio has an application wizard appwizard or something to that effect. The easiest way I''ve found to use it, is to make a really simple, basic OpenGL ( or Direct3D in your case ) project, that contains all the functions you''d like to have in your appwizard-generated app. Then use that project to base your appwizard on - there''s an option for this somewhere.

Then you can customize it, and have a look at all the weird things that the actually appwizard does.
