I am currently working on a fix for the character studio bounding box problem. After that I want to fix up a few bugs that I consider major, like fogging and wbuffering working perfectly on all supported cards. Also in the future are windows based terrain and character editors, and I''ll try hardware T&L terrain support.

Those are my plans. No timeline of course

Chris

I suppose that should fix my problem on VooDoo2 Banshee 16mb card .. Right!

I suppose u would also be making a Windows based editor for the Particle effects also

Best Wishes,
Nat

How are the W buffer improvements coming along.

Does it work correctly with Geforce cards?

Does it get rid of those nasty artifacts when two
objects are close together?

If it does maybe its time I stumped up for PR3.0

I''ve had reports that it works properly on Banshee now.
Since it''s using wbuffering, you get perfect depth sorting on the older 3Dfx cards now.

To get rid of the jaggies on newer cards you need to click the Use 32 bit option before running it. Most new cards won''t use a 32 bit buffer unless you''re running in 32 bit color.

Thanks for you reply Chris. Since you have a Geforce
can you confirm that depth sorting in D3D is now ok on
these cards [it is poor with the old trial 2.6 but then
there was no Wbuffer support with that version]
