Relaying of transformations in IK

Hi, Anybody knows of any easy and fool proof way to sort of relay the matrix applied to the child, and then change it using some sort of a formula and then apply to its parent so as to acheive IK ? Thank You

I think it is done is a loop. You don''t have to pass the matrix back and forth (If u are doing IK chain)..


Calculate IK
{

// if reach position, quit

for loop
{
// calculate the rotation angle

// calculate the FK
}

}
