DirectPlay9 - Coalesce

When using this, if 2 packets happen to be sent together, will 2 Recieve events be generated... or just 1 for the amalgamated packet? What i basicly want to know is... if i use coalesce (this would improve performance if im sending a lot of small packets, right?) do i have to do anything different than if i wasn''t using it?
