Hi y''all, long time no been here. Anyway, I''ve got a question for you. I''ve been working on a JPEG decoder which is going alright for the moment, except at a certain place. I read in quite a lot of the different data, but suddenly there is the SOFn. I read that it is the Start Of Frame, and that it contains the width and height of the picture. Nice an all........but when I am trying to read it, I cannot seem to get a normal width and height out of it. The item which comes before it is the X''FF'' (255, 1 byte), after that comes the SOFn, from which I thought it''d be 2 bytes (unsigned short).....but no luck. Does anybody of you have any experience with the JFIF JPEG???? If so, tell me.....what should I do? CJ Dance with me......
