What equipment do yall use

Recommended Posts

To animate, I use Bryce 5. I actually model all my stuff in Bryce 5 too, but I've been told that those models can't be exported to other programs in a nice form... But, if you plan on only using Bryce 5 then you can do alot in it... I do...

COOLNESS!

I''m on a P3 800mgz 512mb ram and about 70gb of disk space. That machine has a Lightwave 7.5 license. GF3 card.

Then I have a G3 350mhz 1gb ram 80gb of disk space that does all my 2D stuff because the license for those apps are on there...

My PC also has Painter 5 and PS5 LE.

All I do is game stuff so no fancy super fast machine for me. I render very rarely.

my machine has an athlon 1.4 Ghz w/512 DDR ram, and a gf4 ti4600 (ati 9700 pro is on its way). a 10G hard drive holds the operating systems, and a 60G holds everything else. oh, and i cant live without my 21-inch trinitron.

ive used maya and max, but prefer softimage xsi, which i use for both pre-rendered and real time. for 2d i use ps7, illustrator, after effects, and occasionally ms paint.
