Is there anything equivalent to CreateTextureFromFileInMemoryEx()? How could I even open an file and get binary acess to the file? Do you know some good tutorial resources (not only DX9 tuts, I need to learn VB.Net in general too )

Create a System.IO.MemoryStream from your array and pass that in

ie.

Dim myStream as new System.IO.MemoryStream( myByteArray )

myTexture = TextureLoader.FromStream( myStream )
