I''m intending to use 3DS MAX for my artwork... my problem stems from using sheets of images for multiple frames of bitmaps (like the different angles of a ship, the different stages of an explosion, etc.) My question is: how do I make 3DS MAX render them directly into the format (multiple images per bitmap) I want them in? Or do I have to do it manually?

have you tried rendering a range of frames as bitmaps? i know when you save a animation in truespace as a file format that didnt support animation it would save a list of images.

I CAN render it into a whole bunch of bitmaps (titlesd e.g. bitname00, bitname01... etc.), and then do some cut and paste to get what I want... but is there a faster way?

I assume it''ll use video post...
