quake2 maps

i''m traing to make a quake2 bsp map loader i know that the bsp header are divided by the "IBSP", the magic number(38) and 19 lumps and the lump of the vertex are the number 2 (starting from 0) now with the data of the offset of the vertex i read the data of the points here is my question how i make a proper order for that points? or more easy how i order the data of the vertex?
