linker error (borland c++ 4.5)

I''ve just started trying to compile directx 8 programs using borland so that i can compile at college ive used implib for the directx and winmm dlls but theres this error Linker Fatal: Unable to open file ''c0w32.obj'' does anybody know what this means?

make sure you installed 32-bit libraries with the compiler. do a search on your harddrive for the above file, and if you can''t find it, reinstall borland.

I don''t think version 4.5 is happy with 32bit target. Use 5.0 or above.


p/s: Since I could use 4.5 during the Windows 3.11 era, I guess it''s quite old for today standards.
