Loading Bitmaps...
I''m just wondering if anyone has ever encountered a problem like this....
Sometimes when I load a BMP file, and create an OpenGL texture from it, I get a exception in the opengl driver when I try to use it. If I then load up the bitmap, and resave it without making any changes, it works fine. At first I thought it was a corrupt bitmap header or something, but after a lot of debugging, I don''t think that this is the case. It seems strange that just loading the file into something as simple as Windows Paint and then resaving can solve this problem.
