i needed some feedback on what good books are out there for OpenGL programmers/Game Programmers. I have the OpenGL Game Programming Book, the one featured on Nehe''s site, and the first 2 volumes of the Game Programming Gems Series, and i have plans to buy the 3rd. I am just now getting into collision detection, AI and the physics aspects and looking to get my own Game Engine in the works. i need specifically a good game engine book or any ideas on a good game engine program that i can get. Do any of you use 3DStudio or Maya to build your game engine? The OpenGL Game Programming Book is very nice but i feel like it doesnt cover what a book specifically written for collision detection, AI, or Game Engines would have. Thanks for all your input. Once i get all your suggestions im heading on over to Amazon.com or ill go to Barnes & Noble. Also i am thinking of starting my own game software company-- anyone interested? who knows what could happen..anyway that is just idea
heh
