Ok, is it normal the FPS on my engine doubled after I upgraded to dx 9? Not that this is a bad thing, on the contrary but the difference is huge I was having bad fps when loading and rendering my 75 test cubes, 30-40 fps now its 75. I must admit I have a shity video card, Voodoo 3 and I was trying to optimize my code, but kept having bad fps. Now its more acceptable. 75 fps with only 75 cubes still look really slow to me, but at least its higher than 60fps. Anyone with an old video card experienced the same? Or with a more recent video card for that matter? Frankski
