HI! I''m at the very beginning in programming in DirectX and I need a good tutorial or a good book. It would be nice of you, if you can give me some help! THX F@cem@n

How about reading the tutorials in the SDK docs?

You can''t go wrong with "Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus" by Andre'' LaMothe. It''s written in a style that''s easy to understand, covers a LOT of material in a lot of depth, and includes sample code for everything.

THX very much! I''m thinking about buying this book!

I''ve just finished reading "Windows Game Programming for Dummies" Also by Andre'' LaMothe. It get you through the basics of Game loops/logic and give you a good founding in direct draw/input/sound. No direct 3D, but then you shouldn''t run before you can walk (Not to be sounding patronising because I''m at a fast hobble stage)

What else do you need; besides a miricle.
Money. Lots of Money. or I''ll never do a sequel!

There''s a billion lines of free code in the samples.
I''ve read "Inside DirectX" - MSPress.
...really good book.
