what is it with the model? it's always lit!

hi, all my models are lit properly, this isn''t, it''s always lit even i turned of the lights, i''ve tried attaching a box beside it at milkshape, the box beside it lit properly! i tried computing the normals, even validate it on meshviewer. i clicked on normals option in meshviewer and saw the normals as well as look inside the x file, had D3DRS_NORMALIZED set to true and it just won''t lit properly, thanks,

Check the materials for the object in Milkshape, make sure that it doesnt have emissive light like Donovan said.

Does your vertices have normal information, if not it will be lit like if there was a very bright ambient light

oh..., yeah the materials sorry i forgot, thanks a lot guys! the model has it''s emissive material set to 125,125,125,
