Is there a way to use MMX and the SIMD (is that correct?) instructions without using assembly? If so how and if not then where is a good webite that tells you how to do it. I dont need a lesson on asm id just rather not use it for that unless i have too. Thomas

I am not sure exactly what you are looking for, but a companty named CodePlay is creating a compiler that can automatically vectorize your code to take advantage of all the latest microprocessors. You can download the beta at their web site: CodePlay.com

The intel c++ compiler plugin for msvc has c++ class wrappers for MMX and SSE so that you don''t have to code in assembly.
