I''ve heard that SGI has a OpenGL for Windows, too. So what is the difference between the Microsoft OpenGL (the one come with Win98/NT) and the SGI OpenGL. Thanks,

I didn''t know that such Opengl drivers exist...

But the SGI driver would probably be better :-)))

SGI OpenGL for Windows has been discontinued and is not any longer supported.

I think there might still be implementations around, but SGI no longer promotes OpenGL in any manner unacceptable to Microsoft, so the drivers are unsupported.

They do not support wgl functions (I could do without that, but now I can''t).

Anybody has some performance comparison between the two in software mode ?
