hi, where should i start for information on the best way to make a GUI ? the whole prog would be 2D ,(not a game),mostly in windowed mode. i whant to use openGL & SDL (linux). But how do i handle the mouse input,e.g. how can i know where the mouse actually is and make this interact with my program ? how can i check if mouse input is currently posssible-meaning is the mouse over the program´s window ? will the performance be bad ? any ideas, recomondations, links, tutorials, are apreciated..the GUI-question semms to be asked often anyways .. thx
