Anybody have any idea how to go about using the same texture set in two(or more) different GLUT windows. I understand that each window has it''s own GL context associated with it but...a big but, can you just bind the textures that were loaded and stored in one window, and use them again in another window by just calling glBindTexture() with the appropriate texture name? Or...must all the textures be loaded again into a separate data structure and then bound with all the appropriate calls to glGenTexture(), glTexParameter(), etc? Please help...this has been stumping me for about three days or so and I would like to get past the issue(SOON). Thanx and ciao, Chad

Hi chad,
I once wrote a 3d Editor with multiple OpenGL Windows. I never managed two use the same texture name again in the other window. So I loaded them twice.

But I think it should work. OpenGL has a Client-Server structure. It should be possible to have one Server and multiple Clients.... Or I am just a bit mad...
