How Do I use the CD3DFont class from DirectX 8.1? Right now I''m just trying to get it to work. I have this as a global variable declared at the beginning: CD3DFont font( _T("Arial"), 12, D3DFONT_BOLD ); I then set the device on the initialize function: font.InitDeviceObjects(dx_device); On my Render function I have font.DrawText( 0, 0, D3DCOLOR_ARGB(255,255,255,0),"asdf"); When I do the last part, the application tries go into full screen mode( which it is supposed to) and then quits the application. What am I doing wrong? When I leave it out my application works fine.
