I recently switched my mesh creating method from D3DXMESH_MANAGED to D3DXMESH_DYNAMIC, so I could manipulate the mesh vertices/normals whenever I want to. When doing this, my application crashes on *SOME* meshes! It crashes on the line for changing mesh data, such as normals/vertices. However, if I use D3DXMESH_MANAGED (it doesnt work with sysmem, it crashes again), everything seems ok, until I tested another model. I made a function for flipping normals, and when I applied it to that mesh, omg, the vertices were screwed up! It didnt crash however. So, to sum up: D3DXMESH_SYSTEMMEM crashes, D3DXMESH_MANAGED doesnt.. Why is that? I am really confused here, heh. What might it be? Has anyone else came across with this problem?
