Hello All I am a university student and I am working on a real time OS project which required programming in both C and assembly. I am not a very experienced programmer and I am having a hard time figuring out all the requried data structure and processes. If you have experience in developing any real time OS please let me know cuz I really need your help Thanks in advance

A mate of mine is working on a university project involving a real-time OS. He''s finding it pretty tricky, and he''s a fairly experienced programmer. You might want to consider trying to get a different project.

Other than that, I seem to recall a book by Tanenbaum, can''t recall the title, dealing with OS theory, supposed to be good. Take a look on Google, you might get something.

Modern Operating systems is the book by tanenbaum. I''m reading it atm and it''s a good book. But if your looking for implementation stuff and not theory you probably want to look elsewhere
