Hi Guys, I currently looking for a final yr project for uni and came up with the idea of creating a Java Debug Tool. What I thought was to create a application that takes java code files and executes them while displaying the code (could be animated). The user therefore can be taken through the code visually to see where they have gone wrong. I was hoping u guys could tell me your thoughts as professionals, whether its a good idea, can be used for commercial use or just a teaching aid. What other programs are there like it? If you have any other ideas they would be great to. Thanx for any help G

Not sure if it would work.

Anyway I think the Java debugger is quite good.

How about something that maps out objects and thier interfaces with each other from code.

or some sort of plugin code which would display another window along side the app but showing the names and details of the objects that are being used at the time.

just a couple thoughts.
