Yeah, X-Men really hits its potential when you''ve got every single player slot filled by one of your friends and you''ve all got enough quarters to beat the game.

I would really recommend the Punisher. It''s my favorite beat-em-up of all time. The attacks all feel really powerful and connect really well. The overall collision detection feels perfect. The weapons include flamethrowers, M16s, throwable dynamite. But yeah, Golden Axe is definitely a classic, as is King of Monsters.

One really great unappreciated one is an arcade called Armored Warriors. You play as mechs which can pick up arms and legs from corpses of your enemies and use them. There''s a wide variety of different possible configurations, all of which have several moves. The overall pacing and feel of the game is OK but that weapon system really feels unique and fresh.
