If you want help, you have to:

(1) Search. Google, SDK, gamedev.net Forums, Microsoft MSDN newsgroups

(2) SDK Samples and other tutorials

(3) Post a question somewhere. However, you have to post it in the appropriate place (in your case a new topic), and in the form of a legible question.

Also, try using common sense sometimes. If you are using a DX8 interface that is statically linked from the DX8 D3DX library, it won't work with the DX7 D3DX library...
