Hi How do I create a window without a border? I''ve tried using ''CreateWindow()'' and ''CreateWindowEx()'' but neither seem to support borderless windows. Another problem I have is with the cursor: How the heck do I get rid of it when it''s ''over'' my window? Thanx in advance

Borderless Windows I know: In the call to CreateWindow(), use the flag WS_POPUPWINDOW (It''s the third param in CreateWindow(), the fourth in CreateWindowEx()).

As for making it disappear when it''s over your window, I think some clever usage of the WM_MOUSEMOVE message, the ShowCursor() function, and (if it''s needed, not sure) where your window''s border is. Actually, thinking back, i think all you need is ShowCursor(FALSE) at the top of your program.

As for the cursor problem:

You know how you have to fill in a WNDCLASS structure or WNDCLASSEX structure before you register a class, right? (That is, if you do register a custom class, which you should do when you want custom stuff). Well, simple set the hCursor parameter to NULL, and the program will take care of the cursor whenever it moves over your program''s window.
