When you load a 32-bit texture, but Power Render is running in a 16-bit video mode, does it convert the texture to 16-bit for storage in memory or does it leave it in 32-bit. Gary

It actually converts all formats to 32 bit internally (except palettized), then converts it to the current texture format set by PR_SetTextureFormat.
