Hi there!! I''m playing with lights and material. I''m wondering about the .a/.w/.?/ 4th component of light properties, glMaterialfv(). I know that GL_POSITION in glLightf() uses the 4th component to decide if it''s a position or direction. Well... What does the 4th component on these do: Ambient Diffuse Specular Emissive Or am I just dreaming and there is no 4th component?.. The params parameter contains four integer or floating-point values that specify the ambient RGBA reflectance of the material.

4th is alpha ;-)
