implement shooting and weapons
how could i implement shooting in my game?
about detecting shooting i think you cast a ray to the target and check for collision. but i mean how could i represent the shooting graphics - bullets - should i make a mesh of a bullet and animate it very quickly?
If it''s a machine gun or something, don''t bother. Just cast a ray to find the first collision and spawn sparks there (or whatever you''re using where the bullet hits).
If it''s a really big rocket or something, then yes, a small, quickly animated mesh would be cool.
