Hey all. It has been a while since I have vistied these boards. A lot has happened in my time away, but amung the most unpleasant would be my skill in art atrophying to a nice little pile of dead slag. I thought i might inqure however on how most of the musicians here might have got started. I have always had a considerable interest in learning more about music composition ad I am very interesting in pursuing it in the future. Is there any reading material I can pick up on around the net to get me started? what software is used in composition? I sound like a complete n00b. and when it comes to music, i am very much one. But if i could get some help, I could see having a lot of fun.

Surely there are some ''starting up in music'' tutorials out there, anyone? I''d like some too.
