Greets again! I was wondering on how you would go about copying two textures in opengl together and make a final texture? Examples that this could be used for : transitions between nighttime and daytime sky texture player model blinking and talking Anyone? Justin Eslinger

Day/night transition is one thing, facial animation another... For the first I would suggest using multitexturing (one pass with GL_EXT_MULTITEXTURE, or two standard passes without the extension). As for facial animation, I would simply use the glTexSubImage2D to replace part of the full facial texture from one frame to another (mouth closed, then bright teeth showing, then tongue licking lips, ...).

Pauly - Well, I like 16 bit textures and stuff. Messing w/
palletes isn't what I really want to do. Also, I
could just change the vertex color to acheive
something like that. Thanks for your reply!

Jehan - Thanks for your reply! glTexSubImage2d was what I
was looking for! Thanks!
