New blitting technique idea

Tehre has always been a problem for overdraw, using some sort of source colorkey overdraw can be avoided... Unless this exist already A color is chosen that cannot be in any of the bitmaps. The you blit the top objects first and the bottom last meanning the last thing to be drawn would be th background. SO you keep blitting only in areas where the source colorkey is visible. You test to c whether x,y location where you trying to blit is a color key, if it is then blit your pixel if not just skip it completley. By skipping the creation of apixel you save lots of cpu sycle?? Would this work?

You''re basically doing a coverage buffer - it exists.
Check flipcode.com for more stuff on this.

It''s a simplification of the z-buffer algorithm, in fact, and the hard part that you so easily skipped over is

This is visibility ordering, and it''s not easy!

In theory it looks like a good idea...in practice it''s slow!
To draw a single pixel you wil have to:
- load the value
- compare
- jump
- maybe overdraw pixel

If you use overdraw:
- overdraw pixel
