Now maybe this is a stupid question...I don''t know. I just want to know if a function exists that tells how much memory is unused. Just to clarify, we are talking a Windows environment here. Let me explain a little more. For my little project I am using DirectX. DX has a few nice little options that return the total amount of VRAM on the vid card and the total amount in use at the time. Maybe it was free VRAM, but regardless... Anyway, this is what I am looking for, but for regular old system RAM. I know there is some win32 function GetSystem() something or other that I have used that, amoung other things, returns the total amount RAM and the percent in use. I can''t believe that that percent was accurate. It always said I was using 100% of my RAM. I have 64MEG with win98 and I made a little console app that only printed out this percentage and it was 100. This didn''t seem right. There must be some way to do it because that little system resource meter knows. Hmmm...I am rambling at this point. I must have asked my question already. That seems like a lot to go back and read so I will just go with it. Thank, ->Briar LoDeran
