Hi I''m rather new with the Power Render API, altough i have licensed it some time ago, just now i have free time to start working with it. Hi have done some programming with OpenGL, and when i wanted to debug, i just inserted i breakpoint and the program stoped there. In Power Render that doesn''t seems to work.., the screen just stays black.. How do you guys debug?? I''m using a voodoo 2 thanks Ricardo

for me, few ways to debug:

1) output log in suspicious location in the source, so as to see the values when the program crashes, or where the program crashes.

2) run in window mode, this will allow OpenGL kind of debugging.

voodoo2 is tricky, i do not think you can debug in voodoo2 opengl since it always goes full screen.

one way is to connect 2 monitors to your computer, one for each card. this way you can see the voodoo2 output in one monitor, and the source in another monitor.

works pretty fine when i am working on Creative LAVA 2.0, for opengl debugging.

i have not tried on DirectX, should work too but no promise.
