I am thinking of purchasing one, but before i do, has anyone got one/had one? if so what it like for coding? I am interested in it since it has Linux on it and suppots Java, but i am a little scepticle in how compatable the java is with a normal PC java program. I am interested in anyones opinion on it, thanks

i have one, and i love it. i got myself a wireless network card for it and a one gigabyte harddrive. coding is pretty sweet, ive got gcc set up fine and can compile with ease. i have switched off of sharps stock rom tho, and went with openzaurus... i really appreciate the openzaurus rom much more, but one thing to note is that the java support under openzaurus is limited.

feel free to shoot anymore questions out.

It is a PDA, Has a Linux OS and supports java, Has the usual optional extras of Wireless lan, modem, gps etc...
My interests would be coding small java games and network apps with my main computer, using RMI, if thats possible.
