Model w/ various textures

Some of the models i''ve seen in 3D demos, those 3D models seem to be made under 3D Studio with several diferent textures, and then, by some method that is unknow to me, they are converted into a single texture. How can i do this? I''m using 3D Studio...

If you use Max5 you may want to look at texture baking, which will do the job. It will even give you the possibility to add radiosity, shadows and lightning effects to your texture (all static of course).
Just seach in the help file and you''ll get there.

Btw..

You can also manually merge your textures thogether in Photoshop, and the use the "UV unwrap" utility in Max to map the coordinates correctly. It''s a bit tricky, but everything is explained in the HELP-file(Max).
