Object resizing ...

Hello , imagine i have the bounding box of an object . Now , in editors like WorldCraft there are 8 control points that suround each selected objcet and based on wich control point you drag , the shape resizes . What i would like here is an explanation on how to implement this using an approach that would be clever + work for every shape ( culinders , cubes , imported object ...) i''m talking about an orthographic view by the way , so i''d only have to mess with 2 axis .

use matrices to scale the geometry of your objects. you can find a tutorial about matrix math almost everwhere on the web.
