# Learing ASM

## Recommended Posts

I really want to learn ASM as it look much more hax0r (the real reason is that i want to learn somthing completly new and asm looks like a smart thing to learn ) So where do i start ? And with what do i start ?

i was gonna say: there has got to be some ASM for dummies book or some other under-$20 less-than-200-page book at your local bookstore but asm is probably way to complicated to fit into a little book try googleing, theres gotta be a site on the theory and stuff behind asm and how to start #### Share this post ##### Link to post ##### Share on other sites You might also try this really good web book on 80x86 assembly: http://webster.cs.ucr.edu/Page_asm/ArtOfAsm.html -- Exitus Acta Probat -- #### Share this post ##### Link to post ##### Share on other sites Some begginer dos tutorials http://www.gamehax0r.com/source/Assembly/ #### Share this post ##### Link to post ##### Share on other sites I got my first assembly book for$2 on an office depot clearance table. That was a great buy.

Anyway, google for "Art of Assembly Language". There''s a great, free online book about x86 assembly under that name.
