texture weirdness

Im using 3ds max 5 to export ASE objects, it works fine until i render it with a texture. Most of the objects seem to be fragmented in different directions. If I load an object with no textures it works just fine...any ideas?

Make sure your polygons are wound the right way... ccw

Well...im using an index buffer...and like i said it renders fine without a texture...so i dont think this is the problem.
